Did you know that replacing your electric hot water system with a gas, solar or heat pump system can reduce running costs by more than 50%? You can also reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 50%. So you‘ll be helping save the environment as well as saving money.
EnergyAustralia is helping business customers in its area replace their electric hot water system by introducing the Commercial Hot Water Rebate Program. To put it simply, we’ll send you a rebate cheque for 20% of the cost of your new system up to a maximum of $5,000.
You can purchase your hot water system from any hot water supplier. Or we can give you a quote on a new system.

Who is eligible?
The Commercial Hot Water Rebate offer is available to all non-residential customers connected to EnergyAustralia’s
electricity network regardless of their electricity supplier.
Do you qualify?
To qualify you must be replacing an electric hot water system on continuous electricity supply (i.e. not connected to Off
Peak supply) with a gas, solar or heat pump system.
Expiry date
This offer is available until 30 June 2009.
